Nicolas Ronco – Founder and CEO

 
Nicolas Ronco is the Founder and CEO of YeloSpa that opened its first location in New York City in 2007.

His successful and fulfilling experience in the business and corporate world in the US, Europe and Asia led him to create a unique brand in the hospitality and spa industry that is now internationally recognized and growing in markets such as Puerto Rico and the continental US. YeloSpa has recently been approved to franchise its brand and system across the 50 United States.

YeloSpa is the culmination of Nicolas’ extensive travels and experience in his quest to learn how different cultures deal with stress, fatigue and exhaustion and ultimately heal the entire being. He experienced reflexology and sleep therapy in Japan, performed volunteer work at an ashram in India and studied shamanic healing in Brazil. His constant research for effective healing methods across the globe provides an infinite source of R&D that is applied at YeloSpa.

Until 2005, he was Vice President of Business Development and International Sales and Marketing for MakeMusic! Inc. During his tenure in this leading and publicly traded (NASDAQ: MMUS) music software company, Nicolas successfully launched the SmartMusic product line of music learning software. SmartMusic’s revenue has grown ten fold since inception in 2001.

From 1999 to 2001, Nicolas also served as Vice President Online Marketing and Regional Online Vice President for Trader Classifieds Media, a $450 million publicly traded company. During his tenure at Trader, Nicolas participated in the successful IPO of Trader on the NASDAQ (TRDR) and Paris Stock exchange in 2000. His responsibilities also included overseeing online advertising efforts, e-commerce development and CRM implementation for classifieds ads services in 18 countries.

Prior to joining Trader Classifieds Media, Nicolas spent nine years with Time Warner direct marketing divisions in New York City. Nicolas had P&L responsibility over the music and video product lines and he managed direct marketing efforts to a customer database of 35 million active members and 120 million customers and prospects.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Paris-Dauphine and an MBA from the City University of New York.

Guillaume Gauthereau – Head of Development

 
Guillaume Gauthereau is a business leader, serial entrepreneur and socially conscious activist who partners with CEOs, executives and solo entrepreneurs to grow their personal and professional brands. After spending more than a decade as an entrepreneur and business executive in the luxury retail industry, CEO for Lalique North America and General Manger for Louis Vuitton’s flagship store in Paris, Guillaume truly knows how to grow and scale a business in an efficient yet sustainable manner.

Guillaume’s advisory experience, as founder and chairman of Sequoia Lab, is focused on implementing growth and brand strategies for companies with a sustainable and socially responsible interest – brands with a purpose, as he calls them. Guillaume has received global media recognition for his achievements. He has been featured on CNN, CBS, CNBC, BFM, FOX News, Huffington Post, The Independent, Forbes and Portfolio.

Guillaume has a PhD from Ecole Nationale Veterinare de Maisons-Alfort, Paris. In 2012, he was nominated by Ernst & Young as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2011, Mayor Bloomberg named him an NYC Venture fellow, an honor given to exceptional entrepreneurs who creates jobs in New York City.

Aisling O’Shea – Director of Franchise Operations

 
Aisling O’Shea is the Director of Franchise Operations for Yelo Spa Franchise since October 2017.

She previously held the role of Spa Director at Yelo Spa NYC since January of 2015. As the Director she oversaw the day-to-day running of the spa, ensuring guests were welcomed in a warm, friendly manner and that they had a unique experience on every visit. Yelo offers guests customized treatments that meet their individual needs in an environment designed to both soothe and relax. Aisling takes pride in the founding principles of the business that makes wellness available to everyone and encourages guests to live a healthier life.

Aisling’s career began in Finance at Allied Irish Banks in Dublin in 2005. Here she worked her way from a Teller to business Manager Support, dealing with commercial lending applications, to personal Relationship Manager assessing personal loans and mortgages to her final role as Senior Manager support in the Dublin South Business Center. Here she learned about debt consolidation and restructuring of loans in excess of one million Euro.

After realizing that her true passion was in making people look and feel their best she decided to enroll in a nighttime CIBTAC course with Bronwyn Conroy’s Beauty School, Dublin in 2010. She studied Aesthetics and Body Massage and graduated with honors in both modalities.

After relocating to New York City in 2012, Aisling commenced a role with high-end spa in Soho. Here she got to indulge in the world of wellness and use the skills from her financial background to really make an impact on the business. She was promoted from Guest Services to Assistant to Director in four months and went on to become the Spa Manager. Her focus was growing the business while promoting the ethos of wellness from within.

Aisling holds an Associate Degree in Financial Planning from the Institute of Bankers Ireland and has completed a Spa Director Management Intensive course with the Wynne School of Business.

Sanna Svegrup – Branding and Marketing Manager

 
Sanna is the Branding & Marketing Director for Yelo Spa since July 2017.

She previously worked with graphic design and brand consulting for several New York companies. Creating and maintaining a strong brand identity has been her focus and passion while continuously searching for interesting and engaging brand strategies.

Her background is in art, design and media & communication science, with experience from the fine arts as well as the design world. In Sweden she worked with jewelry company Lotta Jewelry, designing visual concepts for the flagship store and international trade shows in Paris, Milan, Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm.

After relocating to New York in 2013 she worked for a prestigious private art collection while attending graduate school. Here she researched, wrote and designed a seven-volume book series over the collection. Upon finishing this project, she started working with local New York brands as a brand consultant.

Sanna holds an MA in Fine and Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, and a BA in Visual Studies from Lund University, Sweden.
