What experience do I need to become a YeloSpa franchise owner?

While a background in or familiarity with the spa or hospitality industry can be helpful, an ideal candidate for a YeloSpa franchise does not necessarily need to have experience in a similar business to join our system. Some retail business and staff management experience is also helpful, but overall, we seek candidates who are passionate about health and wellness, and who are charismatic leaders with solid sales and customer service skills.

What is provided as part of the YeloSpa franchise system?

We will provide you, as one of the franchise owners, and your general manager with a one-week Initial Management Training Program at our headquarters/training center or at another location we designate; this includes both classroom and on-the-job instruction. YeloSpa representatives will also spend up to five days assisting you with on-site support around the time of your business launch. And, we’ll also loan you a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your spa facility properly on a day-to-day basis, and we’ll be there to provide certain remote support and ongoing guidance, and answer questions you may have.

How much will the YeloSpa franchise investment cost me?

The estimated initial investment range for a single start-up franchise ranges from $438,295 to $1,177,505; for a conversion franchise, this range is $382,570 to $1,000,505. This includes an initial franchise fee of $45,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Are there other ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?

Franchisees will pay royalties of 6% of weekly gross revenues. There is also a $100/per month email address maintenance fee. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of services, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

Are there any advertising fees?

After an initial $10,000 grand opening marketing expenditure during the first 90 days of operation, franchisees will be required to spend the greater of $5,000 or 8% of gross revenue per month for the balance of first year of operation (minimum amounts and percentages decline in subsequent years) on local marketing efforts. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the YeloSpa brand and fund the creative costs to develop marketing materials and campaigns.

Is financing available?

We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resources, on a case-by-case basis.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with two additional successor agreement options of five years each.
