
Nicolas Ronco – Founder and CEO
Nicolas Ronco is the Founder and CEO of YeloSpa that opened its first location in New York City in 2007.
His successful and fulfilling experience in the business and corporate world in the US, Europe and Asia led him to create a unique brand in the hospitality and spa industry that is now internationally recognized and growing in markets such as Puerto Rico and the continental US. YeloSpa has recently been approved to franchise its brand and system across the 50 United States.
YeloSpa is the culmination of Nicolas’ extensive travels and experience in his quest to learn how different cultures deal with stress, fatigue and exhaustion and ultimately heal the entire being. He experienced reflexology and sleep therapy in Japan, performed volunteer work at an ashram in India and studied shamanic healing in Brazil. His constant research for effective healing methods across the globe provides an infinite source of R&D that is applied at YeloSpa.
Until 2005, he was Vice President of Business Development and International Sales and Marketing for MakeMusic! Inc. During his tenure in this leading and publicly traded (NASDAQ: MMUS) music software company, Nicolas successfully launched the SmartMusic product line of music learning software. SmartMusic’s revenue has grown ten fold since inception in 2001.
From 1999 to 2001, Nicolas also served as Vice President Online Marketing and Regional Online Vice President for Trader Classifieds Media, a $450 million publicly traded company. During his tenure at Trader, Nicolas participated in the successful IPO of Trader on the NASDAQ (TRDR) and Paris Stock exchange in 2000. His responsibilities also included overseeing online advertising efforts, e-commerce development and CRM implementation for classifieds ads services in 18 countries.
Prior to joining Trader Classifieds Media, Nicolas spent nine years with Time Warner direct marketing divisions in New York City. Nicolas had P&L responsibility over the music and video product lines and he managed direct marketing efforts to a customer database of 35 million active members and 120 million customers and prospects.
Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Paris-Dauphine and an MBA from the City University of New York.
